Script Consulting

I offer script consulting focused on story, character, structure, and clarity of intent. My notes are practical and direct, aimed at identifying what’s working, what’s not yet landing, and bringing out the writer’s voice. We look closely at character psychology, narrative style, theme, and the choices each scene is making.

My approach is shaped by real production experience. I co-wrote Myself When I Am Real, which won Best Narrative Short Film at the San Diego Asian Film Festival and was nominated for Best U.S. Short Film at Palm Springs International ShortFest and Best Short Film at the Hawai‘i International Film Festival. I was also Writer’s Assistant to Daniel Stiepleman for the following projects, On the Basis of Sex (Dir. Mimi Leder, 2018), Out of My Mind (Dir. Amber Sealey, 2024), and Ursula K. Le Guin’s Planet Of Exile (in development at Los Angeles Media Fund).
